Only what you type into the signup form: your first name, email address, role, skills, what you're looking for, what you're building (if you choose to share it), available hours, and where you heard about us. We don't use tracking cookies, analytics pixels, or advertising trackers on this site.
Mezz works by sharing your information with potential collaborators. When we match you, we share your first name, email, skills, and what you're building or seeking with the person or people you're matched with, and theirs with you. That's the product. If you don't want something shared in an introduction, don't include it in your signup, or tell us at hello@getmezz.com and we'll note it.
Your form responses are processed by Netlify (site hosting and forms), stored in Google Workspace (our matching records), and your email address is held by our email provider to send the digest. These providers may process data outside the UK/EEA under their standard safeguards. We don't sell your data, share it with advertisers, or pass it to anyone except as described in section 4.
For as long as you're on the list. If you unsubscribe, we delete your details from active matching records within 30 days. If Mezz shuts down, all member data is deleted.
Under UK GDPR you can ask us at any time to: access the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it entirely, or restrict how we use it. Email hello@getmezz.com and it will be done within 30 days, usually much faster. You also have the right to complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk), though we'd appreciate the chance to fix things first.
Mezz is for people aged 16 and over. If we learn that someone younger has signed up, we'll delete their details.
If this policy changes materially, we'll email the list before the change takes effect.
