Terms of Service

Last updated: 12 June 2026. Plain language on purpose. If anything is unclear, ask: hello@getmezz.com.

1. What Mezz is

Mezz is an early-stage service that introduces people who want to collaborate on projects, ventures, and work. Right now it operates as a signup list and a weekly email digest in which we make introductions by hand. By signing up, you agree to these terms.

2. What Mezz is not

Mezz makes introductions. Everything after the introduction is between you and the people you meet. We are not a party to any project, partnership, employment relationship, or agreement you form. We do not vet, endorse, or guarantee anyone we introduce you to.

Mezz is not an employment agency or employment business. We do not select candidates for employers or supply workers; we introduce people to each other, and any opportunity that follows is arranged directly between those people.

3. Who can use Mezz

You must be 16 or older to sign up. By signing up you confirm that you are, and that the information you give us is accurate.

4. Your ideas and your work

Anything you share through Mezz — in your signup, in the digest, or with people you're introduced to — is shared at your own discretion. We do not and cannot keep your ideas confidential, and we make no promise that others won't use what you choose to share. Share at the level you would be comfortable sharing publicly.

Intellectual property in anything you build with people you meet through Mezz belongs to whoever you and your collaborators agree it belongs to. We strongly encourage you to agree this in writing at the start of any project. Mezz plays no role in determining, holding, or adjudicating ownership.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use Mezz to:

We can remove anyone from the list, decline to make introductions, or refuse signups at our discretion, particularly to protect other members.

6. No guarantees

Mezz is provided as-is, free of charge, while we test whether it should exist. We don't guarantee introductions, matches, responses from other members, or outcomes of any kind. We may change, pause, or shut down the service at any time; if we shut down, we'll tell the list and delete the data as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mezz and its operator are not liable for losses arising from introductions made, collaborations formed, or content shared by members. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited (including for fraud, or death or personal injury caused by negligence).

8. Changes to these terms

If these terms change materially, we'll email the list before the change takes effect. Continuing to receive the digest after that is acceptance of the new terms; unsubscribing is always one click.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes belong to the courts of England and Wales.
